Writing
I am currently working on a travel tale
which chronicles my adventures from
April 2010 to April 2011. In this
year I learnt a lot about myself, the
world and its people. My book is not
going to be a deep philosophical
tome, rather a light hearted take on
my evolution during this time, with a few wild adventures thrown in. The title ‘Living Vicariously’ shows that before I got proactive I was living vicariously through friends.

The Black HoleBlack_hole.html
Here are some random pieces that may never see the light of day. While
traveling and studying I play with different types of writing, trying to find which style suits me. My uni friends call this process finding your voice...they also use words like ‘Neophyte’ and ‘Post colonial discourse’ so I do not dwell on this. All of the stories within are true (I cannot write fiction). I hope you enjoy reading them.

Jette and I are going to spend three weeks in Asia before I continue on the Nepal. We have flights booked to Bangkok on the 25th of August, nothing else is planned. Jette wants to climb Mt Kinabalu in Borneo, if time allows, I would love to go rock climbing in Thailand

I am off to amazing Nepal again. This October
Mal Haskin is going to attempt
to Speedfly from the summit of Manaslu, a lofty
mountain at 8163 meters high. No one has ever
attempted to launch from an 8000 meter high
mountain before. I met Mal in November 2008
when taught me how to use crampons and ropes
on mountains, we have stayed in touch ever since.
When the opportunity arose to join him,
push my altitude limit and cheer him, on I did
not hesitate.

What happens when a Tasmanian guy with terrible fashion sense and a pathological love of mountains moves 16472.5 kilometres away from home to follow his girl to Denmark... one of the flattest countries in the world?
